The desktop and app versions of Parler are back up and running.

The beleaguered free speech social media platform has launched its comeback initially for existing users only.

However, acting CEO Mark Meckler explained in an interview with American Thought Leaders that next week should see the introduction of new users being able to join in the fun.

How can that be done if they’ve been removed from the Google and Apple app stores? Same way Gab fought back – work around them.

From the Parler website, you can learn how to sideload the app. If the information isn’t fully loaded yet, keep checking back. My chromebook wouldn’t let me access the Apple app information, so I am unsure of its status at this time.

Alternatively, you can find the icons which lead to the app download info at the bottom of the Parler website.

While propaganda media and big tech competitors have been quick to label Parler as a “conservative” or “alt-right” platform, it has always welcomed people from all political and other viewpoints.

As Meckler explained during the interview, if it is speech that is allowed in the public square, it is allowed on Parler. If it is not legally allowed in the public square, it is not allowed on Parler.

He said that platform has taken their welcome to all viewpoints even further than lip service, reserving the names for left-wing voices, such as The New York Times, should they wish to expand their reach.

Because the prior takedown caught them without sufficient redundancies in place, Parler has had to do some rebuilding. Their return has left happy users slightly frustrated, but hanging in there with the growing pains, understanding the glitches are quickly being addressed.

Meckler said that Parler should return to normal performance quickly, and they now have redundancies in place.

On a personal note, if you wish to follow me on social media, my links are in the sidebar of this blog. They include: Parler, Gab, MeWe, CloutHub, Xephula, and Rumble.
